ANXIETY: Are you worrying a lot? Do you often think about the “what-ifs” of life? Do you tend to picture the worst-case scenario? Are you physically tense? Are you avoiding some place, people, or important conversations? I can help you find ways to manage these symptoms and to engage with life more fully.
DEPRESSION: Do you feel like you don’t enjoy life as much as you used to? Are you constantly feeling like you’re doing something wrong or like you’re failing? Is it hard to focus or make decisions, no matter how much you try?Together, we can bring clarity to what you’re experiencing and begin to untangle the thoughts and feelings that are holding you back. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, rebuild a sense of hope, and find new ways to experience meaning and joy in your life.
TRAUMA/UNRESOLVED CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE: Do you notice your body becoming activated unexpectedly? Or do you tend to shut down/disengage in stressful situations? Are you struggling with flashbacks or lingering feelings from the past? These responses are often the body’s way of holding on to unresolved experiences. Through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we can work together to gently process these past experiences. This approach helps your nervous system return to a state of balance, so you can feel grounded, safe, and more at ease in your daily life.
INTENSE EMOTIONS: Do you often feel overwhelmed by the intensity of your emotions? Do you sometimes say or do things in the heat of the moment that you later regret? Strong emotions can feel difficult to manage and may leave you feeling out of control or misunderstood. While these experiences can be painful, they are also signals that something important is happening inside you. Together, we can explore healthy strategies for navigating big feelings and help you learn to respond with more calm and intention. My goal is to support you in creating space between emotion and action so you can feel more grounded, balanced, and in charge of your choices.
ADULT ADHD: Do you often feeling guilty or disappointed because you didn’t accomplish what you wanted to in a day? Do you feel overwhelmed when you have to plan/organize something? Is it hard to stick to commitments or stay consistent, no matter how much you try? I can help you better understand your ADHD and find strategies to better manage your symptoms. Most importantly, we’ll work on helping you feel more confident, capable, and compassionate toward yourself.
SELF-ESTEEM AND BODY IMAGE ISSUES: Do you spend a lot of time worrying about what others might think of you? Do you struggle to make decisions out of fear of disapproval? Are you anxious about your appearance, or even avoiding social situations because of how you feel about your body? Together, we can work toward building a more compassionate and confident relationship with yourself. I’ll support you in learning to embrace who you are, become more assertive about your needs and wants, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
DISORDERED EATING: Do you find yourself thinking about food all the time or worrying about how much you eat? Do you sometimes feel out of control around food, or eat until you feel painfully full? These patterns can feel overwhelming, but they do not have to define your life. Together, we can explore the reasons behind these feelings and behaviours. I’ll support you in building a healthier, more balanced relationship with food; one that allows space for nourishment, enjoyment, and self-compassion.
RELATIONSHIPS: Are you struggling with maintaining healthy relationships? Are you often involved in conflicts? Do you have trouble connecting with others? Or do you feel like you are constantly being taken advantage of? Relationships are central to our well-being, but they can also be challenging. Together, we can explore the dynamics at play in your relationships and uncover what may be keeping you stuck. With support, you can learn to be more assertive, set clear and healthy boundaries, and create connections that feel respectful, balanced, and fulfilling.
INTIMACY ISSUES: Do you find it hard to connect emotionally and sexually with your partner? Is there a gap between your sexual drive and your partner’s? Are you uncomfortable during intimate moments? Are you trying to navigate the complexities of an ENM (ethical non-monogamy) relationship? Intimacy can be deeply rewarding, but it can also bring up challenges that leave you feeling distant, disconnected, or uncertain. Together, we can explore what may be getting in the way of closeness and connection. I can also support you in discovering new ways to feel more engaged, comfortable, and fulfilled in your intimate relationships.
